This
book took about a year to write, critique, edit and publish. I received
encouragement and help in many forms, including those who participated,
sometimes unknowingly, in my field research. The book is an accumulation of
research, testing, experience and writing expertise and energy of many people.
The
enthusiasm I encountered from family and friends helped me to evaluate the need
for just such a book and I am deeply grateful to everyone who
participated.
I
would especially like to thank my unwavering wife, the sweetheart of my youth,
for her relentless loyalty and encouragement throughout the project.
I am
indebted to each of my wonderful children; they are the subjects of many of the
illustrations contained in the book.
Without
the persistence of James Wray, this work would have never made it out of my
head and onto paper. His critique group in Ramona critiqued and edited the
manuscript over a period of a year, providing valuable insight into the craft
of writing.
To my
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who is alone worthy of the praise and honor for
giving me, however so slight, a knowledge of the Holy One, which I am
determined to deliver unto the saints as He provides me opportunity.
To
the Southwest Baptist General Conference for introducing Theresa and I to the
profiling system that is a large part of discovering ones personal blueprint,
or profile as it is often referred to.
To my
Sunday school classes where much of the early work for this book was tested and
delivered in oral lessons.
And
to my pastor and friend Dr. Gary Bassham of Mountain View Community Church in
Ramona, CA. for his encouragement and determination to make everyone in his
sphere of influence become all they can be in the service of the Lord Jesus
Christ.
