About Us

High-Octane Living is a ministry of Michael J. Adams.

Our focus is the empowering of people to accomplish God's purpose for their lives in fulfillment of Acts 13:36.

People in our society are obsessed with discovering their personal significance in the world. When we find significance we are motivated to become high achievers. However, the lack of personal significance is cited as one of the leading causes of depression, suicide and personal regret. Left to chance, people in increasing numbers do not find their way and in fact end up in the wrong career, wrong marriage, or even worse end up as a suicide statistic.

High-Octane Living assists people in the development of their "Created Profile" through leadership training, personal development conferences, seminars and career development coaching. High-Octane Living is about helping parents and young people find purpose and direction in their lives. High Octane Living assists people in the development of career, family and parent decisions.

What we believe

We believe:

Jesus as the second member of the Trinity is the Son of God, God Himself incarnated. John 1:1-14
In the Holy Trinity of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:4-6
In the virgin birth of Jesus. Luke 1:26-35
Jesus died for our sins. 1 Corinthians 15:3
Jesus was buried and rose again on the third day. 1 Corinthians 15:4
The Holy Spirit is the third member of the Trinity and as such He is God. Romans 5:5
The Holy Spirit indwells every true Christian and that this indwelling happens at conversion. Romans 8:11, Ephesians 1:13
In the sanctification, or setting apart as holy, of all believers, that this sanctification is two fold, the first is positional in that we are seen as holy because the blood of Chirst has atoned for our sins. Secondly that it is a renewing power that comes from the work of the Word of God (the Bible) and the work of the Holy Spirit in the renewing of our minds to be Chirst like. 1 Corinthians 1:30, Romans 6:19
Jesus Christ is the Creator of the universe. John 1:3
True salvation is accompanied by spiritual fruit, in other words, someone that has been saved has God the Holy Spirit working at renewing their minds and as such cannot deny that Jesus is God, to the Glory of the Father, and their lives will have fruit. This fruit may not be observable for a time, but eventually it will bear spiritual fruit in the form of good works. James 2:26
We do not believe that a person can be saved by being a good person or by doing things that please God. Romans 11:6
