High-Octane Living provides the following seminars. Seminars at Churches are free of charge. The only expense to you is travel, meals and lodging if you are out of the San Diego area. We sell materials and books at the seminars to support our ministry and love offerings are always appreciated.

Christian Marriage Seminar

Statistics claim that as many as 50% of Americans, including those who attend church end up in divorce. This seminar is designed to help people seed their marriage with High-Octane fuel to assist them in building a happy marriage. People find they have better communication in their marriage once they begin working on strengths and understand their spouse acts the way they do because it is the way they were designed. Once partners understand how their spouse is designed they make marriage advise work better because they apply it in the right context.

College and Career Coaching Seminar

High Octane Living is offering a program for parents and students designed to help them avoid some of the pitfalls of selecting a college and or a career path. Statistics claim that as many as 70% of all Americans are in the wrong career. This statistic is staggering when you consider the costs in terms of lost opportunities and soaring tuitions in our educational system.

How our Career Assessment And Guidance Seminars and Conferences Work

High Octane Living provides a free four-hour seminar at your facility targeted at helping parents and teens with a systematic process to help them understand how their teen is designed.

Upon completion of the seminar attendees can purchase a personal two-hour college and career assessment and guidance coaching conference, or purchase just the assessment package to complete on their own. At the conclusion of the conference the student is equipped with an exhaustive personal "Career Assessment And Guidance Profile" in an attractive package including Michael Adams book "Parenting Your Child's Design". The "Career Assessment And Guidance Profile" helps parents understand how their teen is designed so the can guide them through the process of developing a college and or career path, which takes into account their personality, talents and skills, behavioral traits and leaderships style.

Christian Parenting Seminar

A startling 2002 US Government Statistic shows that suicide was the 3rd leading cause of death among young people 15 to 24 years of age, following unintentional injuries and homicide. As startling as these statistics are they point out a tremendous need in our society for high-octane direction which needs to start in early stages of development. High-Octane Living offers parent resources to assist parents in building relationships with their children, teen parenting advice, parenting classes in the form of seminars and conferences and general parenting advice. These resources include books, High-Octane personal profile resources and our own book, "Raising High Octane Kids" due out in the first quarter of 2006.

Spiritual Gifts Seminar

Spiritual gift tests are becoming common place within the Church today. Leaders are utilizing them to assist members in finding a role within the Church which they are equipped to minister. If spiritual gift tests are used on their own to get a congregation into a participation mode, the results will be minimal because they are not motivational at there core. Spiritual gift tests seek to discover where a member is most led by the spirit to work within the Church. It is the work part that gets to most people. Most members have full time jobs, raise families and have to work around the house just to stay on top of things. The idea of finding an area in the Church where they can function just means they have yet another responsibility. If Church leadership training includes talents, strengths, leadership style and personality traits in the mix, members will discover how God made them and will be motivated to further seek God's will is in their lives.

Leadership Training Seminar

Each of us is gifted with our own leadership style. Our leadership style is built in to us. We all have strengths and weaknesses and if they are understood, and used in context they can be a powerful force in developing the leader within. Leadership development the High-Octane way means developing the leader that already exists. Of course we have to find out what a persons leadership style is before we can assist a person in development of that style. Once we have a persons "created profile" we can then help them to develop and sharpen their skill sets to lead the way they have been designed to lead.

Training church members in leadership can be done in Christian leadership training conferences or seminars. It involves testing members for there leadership style and providing leadership coaching at all levels of leadership, from the pastor to the janitor. Once leadership development training has been completed leadership teams can be assembled, or reassembled using a leadership model that takes into account how the members of the team have been designed by God.
